I've been very busy recently. I've decided to take up a second job and give a little back to the community by becoming a fire fighter part-time.

This meant I had to go away for a month on an intense training course. It was tough and tiring but now I'm back to get snapping!
No doubt you'll eventually start seeing fire related things popping up on here but for now I'll get on with what I've been upto with my camera!

Only two days free of camp I headed out for a warm up shoot with Midlands Strobists. It was a fun day and a great way to shake off the cobwebs here's a couple from Wolverhampton University:
CagedCorridor
Yell
Jermane

A great day out and thank you for everyone who organised it.

This morning I headed out To meet Kara and Chris for their engagement shoot. I use these days as an informal marker to help the weddings run more smoothly. There's nothing worse than a photographer taking over the show at a wedding and I try my best to minimize the personal time needed with the photographer by meeting beforehand and discussing exactly how the day needs to run.
I also pop off a few shots and today this is what we picked up:
engagement shoot
Kara and Toff

Look out for the highlights from Kara and Chris' wedding soon!

bye bye
